The first annual AMC Manitoba Car Club windup will be held Saturday,
September 10, at 5:30 PM at Gerry and Jackie Sauder's ranch, 209
Symington Road (off Dugald Road). Bring your cars as there is
plenty of room at the ranch. Bring your own booze and a desert.
You're invited to participate in the "Fabulous 50's Flashback Weekend"
cruise on Saturday, September 10, leaving Garden City Inn parking at
2:00 PM to Half Moon restaurant in Lockport. After the cruise, the
club will head to Gerry's for the windup.

Our first annual AMC Manitoba Car Show is Saturday, July 2nd, at the
west end of the Harbour View Complex (access off Lagimodiere). Registration
starts at 10:30 AM. Show starts at noon. Special trophies and
prize categories for AMC cars. $5.00 entrance fee for participants.
There will be food, games and draw prizes.
June 15, 2005
AMC cars will be entering the South Winnipeg Car Show at 1111 Chevrier
Boulevard at 11:00 AM. There will be entertainment, BBQ, prize draws
and admission will be free.
Also June 19, some AMC cars will be meeting at the Fort La Reine Museum
Car Show at 10:00 AM. Non-perishable food item is the admission fee.
There will be dash plaques, silent auctions and trophies.
On June 26, Buffalo Bill's (Canad-Inns Regent) will be hosting the AMC
Manitoba Car Club from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM. 92 CITI FM will be on site.
The club needs a good showing for this event. The restaurant features
a rib buffet dinner, and with your AMC car, you are entered in several draws
for nice prizes throughout the evening. Let

Next meeting is Wednesday, June 15, 7:00 PM, at "Jim's Vintage Garage"
museum in Headingley, across from Nic's on Highway 1. Bring your AMC
car if possible. Following the meeting will be a tour of the museum,
which has cars and garage antiques.
General meetings will now be held on the 3rd Wednesdays of every month.

May 25 General Meeting to include a tour of Colin Hillyard's "Project
Barn" in Oakbank. Meet at the G'News Restaurant (Oakbank) at 7:00
PM for dinner, followed by the tour. Bring out your AMC Ride if you
can.

The 2005 World of Wheels was a great success for the club and really
spread the name. Some pictures have been posted up, but more are welcomed,
from any source. Just e-mail them to the
webmaster
and they'll be posted.
General meetings still carry on, last Wednesdays of every month at 7:00
PM at the Legion, 920 Nairn, unless otherwise mentioned. That means
the next one is this Wednesday, March 30th. All members, current and
potential, welcomed. Hope to see you there!
